Night of Light

In the night from 22 to 23 June, event and cultural venues, buildings and structures in more than 200 cities throughout Germany will be illuminated with red light: many glowing memorials will form an enormous monument of light. The luminous appeal to save the event industry is also taking place in Munich - among others, the Muffatwerk, the Olympic Tower, the Gasteig, the Pinakothek der Moderne, the Feldherrenhalle, the Isartor and the Literaturhaus are among the many that are taking part, the Schauburg, the Kulturhaus Neuperlach, the Bunker at Viktualienmarkt, the Forum of Technology on the Museum Island, the Munich Giant Ferris Wheel in the Werksviertel, various clubs like Strom, Milla, Drossel & Zehner as well as the Tambosi and the Isarpost event location. In addition, various service providers from the event industry will be joining in to make their company headquarters, warehouses and offices shine in red. This is a flaming appeal to enter into a dialogue that is intended to address the diversity and systemic relevance of the German event industry. Follow the red lights, pass by the bunker, take pictures, share your impressions, talk about them - give our sector your very special attention.
